Scotland

A golf trip to Scotland, the Original Home of Golf, is a pilgrimage like no other. It’s a destination that can be a spiritual awakening or for one to simply understand it all better. Steeped in tradition to some it feels like you have traveled back through time to play on hallowed turf.   Scotland can be divided into 4 regions for the purposes of describing the golfing experience. Travel to the east coast of Fife and St.Andrews, where one can play on new courses that look like they have been there for 200+ years and those that are 500+ years old. This region of Scotland is also home to many of the "Open qualifying courses" like Lady Bank.
Don’t miss the picturesque city of Edinburgh, with castles, shopping and nightlife and its fine layouts. The West coast of Scotland boasts it's own fare share of great courses like Royal Troon and the Ailsa course at Turnberry recently purchased by Donald Trump. Other courses like Western Gailes and Machrihanish Dunes also can be found on the western side of Scotland.  And of course, don’t miss the Highlands, where Hidden Gems are scattered along the rugged coast line like Tain and Royal Dornoch. Enjoy Baronial Resorts like Gleneagles in the SW and Central regions, not to be missed even if just to visit for the day. That is the true Scotland, finding something new after every turn.
